(Also - Finland isn't technically part of Scandinavia. It's called Fenno-Scandinavia if Finland's included, I believe)

yeah Finland isn't part of Scandinavia but I've met so many Finns who seem to think Finland is part of Scandinavia I don't even try to understand anymore lol

I was thinking about moving to Denmark next year (I hear they've got an awesome Animation School there)

Maybe it's because it gets mixed up with the Nordic countries a lot (which would include Finland) - I've seen a lot of public media and politicians mess it up, no wonder if people are confused. I only know because I think it's neat that there are all these specific divisions.

Oh really? I haven't heard much about animation schools here, but I don't really run in any circles where I would either. We're an odd little place, it's always interesting to see why people consider coming here :)

It's always hilarious to me that booze is considered cheap here where everything is expensive as hell, then I remember how expensive it is elsewhere and feel moderately lucky.

We are talking about Norwegian abroad, everything is cheap when you leave Norway! And I mean everything, well apparently the Swedes buy house paint in Norway because it is the only thing cheaper over here than in Sweden...

Yeah, sorry - as making_excuses said, Denmark is not cheap in the alcohol department for anyone other than other Scandinavians. In fact, Denmark is pretty damn expensive all around in general.
