Hannibal is manipulating the FUCK out of Will and is basically pushing him to instability and it's so fucked up.

Honestly, I am wondering was anyone else expecting anything different? How could they given the nature of the series? Hannibal is a psychopath. That's what they do. They manipulate to get what they want. Hannibal wants Will. If Will gets medical help for his illness, he won't need Hannibal any more. And Hannibal doesn't want that. So, hide the illness. Hope that Will gets worse. The worse Will becomes, the easier it is to control him.

yeah I personally love the idea of Hannibal manipulating and Stockholm-syndroming Will into his personal pet. I think a lot of the fandom does..? Maybe it's the corner I hang out in but it doesn't seem like too many fans are in the ~love conquers all~ camp

Oh yes. The wrongness of their relationship is delicious to me. I feel terribly sorry for Will but at the same time his 'friendship' with Hannibal is so intriguing and I don't want to see him escape it. (At least not yet.)

Me either, but I only follow one or two people who post Hannibal stuff and they seem to be more into dark humor than the happy family stuff.

maybe I actually HAVE seen the happy family stuff and just read it through the lens of the horror picture show and miss the creators' intent... I don't know D: I can't tell what's real anymore lol

someone post examples of this happy family stuff so I can see if it's the same thing that I'm interpreting as tongue-in-cheek
