I think it was more winning a fight against being forever grouped with the Superwholock "type". Crossovers with undoubtedly still happen, but you have to admit that the image that the Superwho fandom presents itself with isn't necessarily positive. It's like one step above yaoi-paddle people on the scale of obnoxiousness.

I like that Yaoi Paddle People is now a thing to be measured against. I mean, what is this world we live in?
