I think people love his Hannibal because it's different from the movies.He has a very different take on him and his acting is pretty steady,and after I've seen Supernatural,it's a blessing.(I'm not gonna go on about his way of talking,I can barely hear him sometimes.Thank god for nbc and their closed captions.)

As for his looks,I don't know.Beauty is generally viewed in different ways,so YMMV.
