what's funny to me is how the mods basically let the loli trio happen though (years ago, now)

it's a blogging community on the internet, not the court system, and it's ridiculous how long they knowingly let those three run amok just because they weren't 'technically' breaking any concrete rules

i know you're just explaining what happened, and i think it's a pretty accurate summary of what happened, but it's amazing how they even brought that on themselves - and although i think that is what opened the proverbial kennel door, the general community attitude that led to their current state was already there long before

No, the "loli trio" didn't change FFR into what it is. It was headed well into that direction as it was. The three voluntarily left so anything the mods and the comm did was their own fault, such as stalking the three, PMing death threats, one mod continually whining about them on their DW long after their departure..

They each have been long gone, so whatever FFR does is their own bust.

i mostly meant that i agree that their time in the comm was probably the catalyst for the comm's overreactive dogpiling ways, since yeah, everything was already headed that way naturally, but that did seem to be what allowed them to go from collectively unpleasant to resembling a swarm of wasps
