Re: Are there any major general fandom comms that AREN'T SJW circle-jerks, these days?

That's how I treat it as well, one in 10 or so rants can lead to a good discussion with the SJWs not bothering. Now I stick to those rants and leave the rest well alone.

I have in the past had a couple of times where I've been dogpiled, and it's me being naive, thinking I could explain myself and my point of view, then realising that it's a waste of time at the point where they've started bitching about me to each other, or just continue to question everything I've said, telling me to check my privilege (which I find hilarious when they know fuck all about me and in fact I'm not that privileged ) anyhow I learnt on that comm just to shut up once it starts happening, I avoid being baited now and compose my responses in my head, and just ignore them. What I'd love to do is tell them to fuck off and grow up, but of course it's not anon, so doing that could lead to nasty PMs which I wouldn't want to risk.

You have a lot of restraint and patience, but it doesn't sound like it's worth it.
