If "playing video games" is a quality that you find attractive, then it's true, and almost tautological. If it's not, then it's pretty obviously not true.

Do you mean physically attractive? Why would that be true? Do you have any evidence or data?

As an overall package, yeah, I'm way more attracted to girls who game. But I don't think there's any significant physical difference.

Idk. I'm female and play games and I'm pretty average. Most of my gamer friends are average looking.

I find a girl currently engaged in playing a video game more attractive than the same girl not so engaged, but I think that about a lot of things.

You know it's subjective, right?

I submit to you that attractiveness is subjective, and personality and general attitude are rather important to most people when determining said value.

To that end, it is entirely possible that women who do not play video games are more likely to spend more time on misguided grooming habits via out-of-touch glamor mags, rendering them too made-up for men who prefer prospective dates to share their interests and be more down-to-earth. In other words, yeah, "gamer guys" are probably going to be more attracted to "gamer girls" than your classic "girly girl." Though I wouldn't really bet money on this - women come with all sorts of personalities and interests, just like men!

I think in general people who share some of your own interests are more attractive to you (general you) as both friends and prospective romantic partners, regardless of gender.

Video games is probably a big one in general on the internet. So...generally speaking, I'd say a reasonable portion of fandom would likely find that true? Presuming ability to be attracted to women, anyway.

I play games but I'm chubby and highly unattractive so no.

I get that if you like video games you'd look for a girlfriend who likes the same thing, but... more attractive? Like girls who like games are not just preferable to you, but OBJECTIVELY BETTER than girls who don't?

You either worded that very very poorly or you're a douche.

Anyway, I hate when guys say things like "I love gamer girls!" because they always mean "I love conventionally attractive gamer girls" and they treat ugly or fat girls like crap. As an ugly girl who plays video games, I get pretty sick of it.

Um, I'm not very attractive but I play a shit ton of video games. So hopefully me playing video games makes me more attractive. idk.

Attractive to who? I'd pick games over sex, conversation, or human contact in a second, and I'm not sure I'm at my finest when disheveled and spitting incoherent curses at a screen like it murdered my family because this fucking boss on nightmare mode won't go down oh my god just die.

If you're really, REALLY into video games, to the point it eclipses all other interests, that actually reduces attractiveness for me, regardless of gender.

I'm a girl who is into video games, and another girl who is also into video games would be more attractive to me than someone that isn't, because it would be something we have in common.

Wrong, self-identified GAMERZ are all hideous on the inside.
