When people start watching Teen Wolf, they are sometimes surprised to discover that there is no character called "Sterek," it's actullay a pairing name. Likewise, people are often surprised that there is no character called "Destiel" on Supernatural. Both are very popular non-canon ships which a small but noisy contingent believe are going to be canon, any minute now!

So putting the "I hate Sterek" text over a picture of Castiel is a level of meta misunderstanding.
