So I'm writing mpreg (yeah, I know...) with an even weirder twist.

And never mind reproductive organs (or lack thereof), what does my stupid brain get irrationally stuck on? Breastfeeding. Yeah. "But... but... but... that wouldn't work! Would it?" WTF, brain?

And yes, on a logical level, I know it can be possible. No idea why I have a bit of a mind block there... :(

Why does there even need to be breastfeeding? Plenty of birth mothers bottle feed their kids from the get-go with no ill effects.

(And so help me god, if I get dogpiled by Breast-is-Besters...)

It's set in a universe where breasfeeding is probably the logical/safest option. I'd probably have to do quite a bit of explaining for using a different version. But I've managed to get over my hangups by now!

In the verse I'm writing in, magic or goat's milk would probably be the only options without getting angsty and they would probably need explaining. I finally managed to get over it and write the scene in question.
