It's mostly sucralose and aspartame that I see added into already-sugared stuff. I don't see stevia around much at all, actually, and as far as sugar substitutes go, I have less of a problem with that than the artificial ones, but it still bothers me that it's touted as a "better" sugar substitute than the others because it's natural, when it still causes problems: mainly, that it still makes your body crave the calories it's expecting from something that sweet, and it kills your tastebuds from the sheer concentration of the stuff.

I admit that my anger with stevia is probably somewhat undeserved, but I'm still annoyed that companies are simply finding ways to make their food sweeter and sweeter and pretending it's "healthy."

I thought stevia was mainly for diabetics

That's why we really have artificial sweeteners in the first place anyway
