nayrt but i guarantee you, it's a thing about how video games are childish and not suitable for mature adults

See, this is why I was hoping yesterdays thread had went better, because I'm a woman in her Mid-thirty's and I. LOVE. VIDEO GAMES. I like other women who play, and I like boys who play. I find it a very hot thing to be into, but I do understand the mind set of it being 'immature' Does that make me a nonce, do you think? am I into people who are immature?

Or is it s false mindset? Is it really that much more immature to escape into a video fantasy world than and paper one?

My boyfriend recently turned 30, and though he's not necessarily a gamer, he does play with me sometimes and the other day he encouraged us to go out and buy some two player games. =)

My actual gamer guy friends/exes all enjoyed gaming enough that they didn't mind watching me play (and I never minded watching them play), and my current boyfriend just gets bored until I feel bad and put on a movie or something, so it kind of sucks that my playing is now limited to when he's not home, but I'm really glad he went out of his way to get some games that we could both enjoy.
