Anyone here attended (or know anyone) who's attended either BMCC or LaGCC? I got accepted into both, and while I only intend to stay for 2-3 semesters before transferring to a proper senior college/uni (I need to raise my GPA), I don't want to be stuck at a god-awful school for the next 1-1.5 years. And according to Yelp, both are pretty terrible. :/

If I had a specific goal in mind it would probably be easier to choose, but I don't. I like psychology (don't know what field I'd enjoy, though) and I'm interested in human services (I'm probably too shy to be a social worker-- that, and the salary sucks) and I think physical therapy might be interesting (though I doubt I'm smart enough to be a PTA, let alone a PT). Aside from that, I have no idea. =/

How does anyone DO this. Seriously. I'm 21 and I have no idea WHAT I want to do with my life. And I simply can't afford to jump from college to college or change majors a million times. Ugh.

Would you be able to go into the military for 4 years? The air force has a lot of really cool career fields and you can get certified while serving for some of them. You can also go to college while you're serving and they'll pay for your degree if you don't finish before you get out.

Thanks for your input, but seriously, no. Signing away my life to the military just isn't something I ever, ever want to do. Like, ever. Besides, I'm a huge fucking wuss. I'd never be able to take it.
