What has that to do with anything? He's one actor who won one prize. Sounds more like you want an excuse to go "wah wah we poor Americans are so oppressed, guys - we are really better".

The top acting talent IS disproportionately British/Irish in the English speaking world. Just like the top writing talent. Get over it.
