Dude c'mon, that's obviously not a healthy ear and someone hasn't been taking care of it. You could find pictures like that for any type of piercing or body mod. I guess if you're against any type of body mod then that argument stands for you and that's fine, but most people don't let the 1% chance stop them from something they like.

I'm not against body mods. I don't picket outside piercing parlors. I've had 2 tattoos, and 5 piercings over time. I never stretched anything grotesquely our of proportion on my body, though.

I'm not saying they can't do it. I'm saying own up to the fact that it looks stupid, and accept that people will judge you for it. People on the internet, friends, family, employers, teachers, librarians, people walking dogs in the park.

That is such a stupid thing to say or think. Seriously, what the fuck. You think it looks stupid. But your opinions aren't universal truths. There are a lot of people who like different things. People on the internet, friends, family, employers, etc - some of those people like dreadlocks, some think they're disgusting. Some of those people like stretched ears, some think they're ugly. Just because you don't like something does not mean that it's stupid.

And then what does it even matter? If the person getting the stretched ear thinks it looks good and is happy then at the end of the day that's really all that matters.

You can do whatever you want w/your body, but people will judge for it--sometimes positively, sometimes negatively.

As for stretched out holes in ears, I think they look creepy as fuck, and if I was in a position to hire someone and they came in w/that, I don't care how qualified they are, they won't get the job. I don't want to look at that. Like I said, I find it creepy and wouldn't want to look at that person or deal with them.
