Whether it's more Natasha/Bruce or Natasha/anyone else (cough Winter Soldier) in the next movie, I can feel impending Clint/Phil and Steve/Tony featuring as background pairings to upcoming fics...(That's what I meant, anyway. Does that make sense...?)

I hate to tell you this, OP... juggernaut ships don't go away. Steve/Tony especially is not going away. There's just too much steam behind it (and Clint/Phil which is hilarious because crackship much?). This is true in most fandoms, I'm sure.

Best you can do is duck and cover and hope that someone (or you) writes some stuff/draws some stuff and it picks up some steam of its own.
