I've never been a member of a pairing-specific comm, but I don't understand why you would want to go to a comm for a specific pairing and talk about another pairing, especially if it involves one of the characters from that comm's pairing.

because sometimes things come up in conversations? it's not that hard to see how a conversation about a & b fighting could turn into "well, i'd be sad if they broke up but a/c is cute too."
