I'm not the OP, but most MCR fans don't just come into being once they turn 20. She's probably been a fan for much longer and he's been her idol.
That means an equal relationship is probably not possible. She is the one who worships him literaly since childhood. And that can be troublesome.

Yeah I can't see how a relationship that starts out with a fan can ever be equal really. Or last once she realises he's a normal bloke who has flaws.

Dickish thing to do on both sides IMO. I really can't bear fans who throw themselves at celebs to try and shag them, especially when in most cases celeb is married or attached. Even worse though are the celebs who can't keep their trousers on, God that's so tedious.
