I have literally not interacted with a single person today (up until posting this reply). It felt amazing.

Most of my family were at their best today (so far). And I met a lovely salesperson at a department store who was kind and courteous to me despite the fact she was the only one on the counter and had about three other customers who needed help at the same time. She definitely deserved the commission she got on my purchase!

A friend of mine from work who came over afterwards to help me study for my integral calc final, as she already passed the class. :)

I just interacted with my family (offline) today and it was nice in general. I did a pretty big cleaning project this afternoon and it was nice to be appreciated for that. Made lipstick with my sister and that was really nice too. :)

Probably my five year old nephew who said I was too sick (I am with the flu) and that I needed, "plenty of bed rest." Which he added, "Call me if you need me." I have a mini-nurse! That's adorable.

I had to park in a really tight downtown street lot today for an interview. When it came time to leave, I got stuck and kept going back and forth while getting more and more frustrated (especially once another car's back up lights came on and I realized I was holding them up).

Then a really nice man walked by and guided me visually through the amount of space I had. One more time back and forth and I was free!

It was incredibly relieving and definitely made my day. <3

The receptionist at my vet's office came over with treats for my dog while we were waiting. He was more excited about getting her attention than he was about getting the treats, so she sat down with us and pet him for a few minutes. Actually everyone in that office is always awesome.

My boss. No, seriously -- he's awesome. He lets me rant when other people are being stupid, and he shields everyone on the team from the higher-ups.
