I'm not sure I'd be skeeved out by someone who just thought the Dark Mark looked cool, got it tattooed somewhere, and didn't really care about HP. I'd think it was a little stupid if you meant people to see it, though, because you'd probably end up finding out a lot about Harry Potter just from excited fans wanting to ask what your Patronus would be or what house you'd be in or whatever. And even if you started out with no strong feelings you'd end up hating it.

People who get symbols of RL stuff that they don't have a meaningful connection to just because 'it looks cool' do freak me out on some level, though. Surely there must be something out there that they care deeply about and that also looks awesome, right? Or maybe not. I don't have tattoos or any plans to get one.
