Meh, fuck this attitude. "Normal" and innocent people have been monitored and punished - of course it helps if you're a non-white immigrant. This argument seems to dismiss the government's crime, and one that has put innocent people in Guantanamo Bay.

So no, the average person is probably not interesting enough for the government to look at, but not all "average" people, and that kind of dismissal is how it all starts. :-/
