That's how I felt about Greggs and McNulty on the Wire. They were so good together!

I, on the other hand, love their platonic relationship so much that would hate if it changed even if they found a good way of deal with the sexuality issues.

I love their relationship for being exactly how it is. <3 It's bromance with a lady and a man! And they love each other with a loyalty that is completely separate from wanting to have sex with each other. That means it never has to go away, there's no cheating, and they never have to lose each other! What could be better? I am so into their relationship.

Actually, if you think about it, it's even cooler than that. Because he IS attracted to her, but it doesn't matter. He loves her for herself, not because she might want to have sex with him someday--and same for her, of course. :D

I love it. There's no 'will they or won't they,' just pure, sheer, loyalty and LOVE.

This. I love the fact that the writers HAVEN'T tried to get them together at all. They do love each other, just not in a romantic/sexual sense. And that's awesome.

I actually agree with you, it's just... I don't know how to explain it.

I do really love their relationship the way it is, and if it stayed that way it'd be great... I just don't think it will. I may be wrong but it seems like most media puts way more importance on romantic relationships than platonic ones, and I can't imagine the writers letting a platonic relationship stay as important as theirs has been for very long. Especially after the finale, I see them pairing them both up with other people and having those relationships become the focus while theirs becomes pretty much non-existent. Which I would hate because their relationship is basically my favorite part of the show, and if that's the alternative I'd prefer them find some way to get them together instead. But if they want to do something different, then yeah, it'd be awesome if they kept things the way they are.

They're the best thing in that show, *exactly* the way they are.
I don't think you should feel gulity, they really do have the perfect chemistry, and sometimes shiping just happens.

I really just wish that sometimes couples, who "destined" to be together (in other shows, in other mediums... whatever) were written like them. They have soooo much more than just attraction, and that's what I terribly miss in almost any "predestined" pairing.
