Probably. I tend to prefer ships where the characters hate each other so much they make out.

(There is the additional fact that is just watched Inception for the fifteenth time, and Simon and Jayne instantly reminded me of Arthur and Eames, who are my ship to end all ships.)

Oh, for sure, then that's not what you'll get from Simon/Kaylee at all. :)

...now I want to go watch Inception again (though, like my taste in ships, I'm a big Arthur/Ariadne fan ;) )

I honestly shipped A/A throughout my whole first viewing of the movie, but then A/E suckered me it with it's belligerent tension and amazing backstory possibility.

I for sure see the potential in A/E, and I definitely see why so many people ship it. :) I just like A/A a bit better.

Was why I mostly stuck to my little corner of the fandom. I mostly participated in a fanwork comm and occasionally with A/A stuff, but steered clear of some of the crazy ship wars.

This is me all over. I love all the fighty conflict between characters and the extra dynamic that introduces to any shipping.
