As sad as I will be to see him go, I really hope he retires before Sochi. I just can't bear the heartbreak of watching him bomb at yet another Olympics.

I don't know this guy, but I used to watch figure skating all the time, and yes, it is painful to watch when someone crashes and burns. And so many of them do at the Olympics, the stress just takes them down. But it's up to him, you know, and they have big support teams behind him.

Who knows? Maybe he'll pull it out of the bag this time around. If not, I'll cringe with you.

I just hate how the judges never rate him fairly no matter how well he does, especially at world levels (I didn't understand how Johnny Weir got a better mark than he did). Same goes for Brezina for example. They're both amazing and skate well but they'll never get such good marks as the "fan favorites".
