Yeah, this. I think there is something deeply, deeply buried in that manga that could have made for an interesting, fucked up story.

But no, it went full on fanservicy lolicon romance more or less, and it's pretty clearly meant to be titilating. If someone wants to write fetishy lolicon smut, yeah fine whatever there's corners of the internet for that where nobody else has to see it--but dressing it up in a plot and basically justifying it and hiding behind "lol it's controversial" wholly deserves the backlash it gets for throwing itself out there.

The author pretty much addmited she put a lot of herself in it. You know she had a serious crush on a teacher at some point.

I think if they really explored that and had less titty/panty shots along the way this would have been the greatest fucked up thing ever. Probably near the same level of hatred, but with more substance.
