Cersei isn't just "flawed", she's "order the massacre of children and babies".

comparing jaime pushing a kid out of a window (which is horrible i don't really like him either tbh) to cersei having like a dozen killed is a p dumb comparison

No, it's an apt one. Theon also baselessly killed two kids. There are some gritty, terrible things done in these books and they all need to compared equally if you're going to give shit over which characters people like and dislike.

I like Jaime too, but I'm not naive about the fact that he is just as bad as Cersei. He pushed Bran out of a window with no thought at all. If you go with the show version he killed his cousin to escape. There are a lot of seriously flawed, messed up characters and it's pretty dumb to act like Cersei is the worst of all.

Only a handle of major characters are as bad/worse than Cersei.

There are characters worse than her; the Boltons, Gregor, Victarion, Joffrey, Tywin.

But she's still more horrible than most of the cast.

I am not saying you have to like her, or not saying she hasn't done some really messed up things, but there are plenty of characters who've done messed up stuff too. Jaime wasn't exactly a saint, but I doubt if Cersei had a chance to have a redemptive angle (which she wouldn't anyway, because women would never have a chance in Westeros) she'd have people ignoring all the shit she did. I'm just saying most of the characters are morally bankrupt by modern, common decency standards.

I can find her sympathetic, fascinating, and flawed but interesting and still not really want to have a beer with her (unless she really did look like Lena Headey).

How is she stupid? She's paranoid people are out together and she's right. She comes up with the idea of restarting the Wildfire production, which Tyrion co-opts (and improves) and then gets all the credit for and generally doesn't do a completely shitty job comparatively to the last two rulers.

Unless you're talking about accepting the deal with the Church... then yeah, that wasn't her finest moment.

Also, she's too stupid even now to realize that she set Maggy's curse in motion. Because I'm pretty sure Mellara Hetherspoon didn't fall into that well on her own.
