Chrom is boring as hell though, idk why people like to pair up avatar with him when you have Lon'qu of all people.

Also, are the fics for this fandom worth reading? I'm was kinda guessing it's mainly boring obvious self insert f!Robin/Chrom stuff which is no thanks.

I certainly don't get the 'pair with Chrom every single run!' people. Variety much? I haven't repeated any Avatar pairings because well, I sort of want to see a lot of them.

Part of it is probably the whole 'handsome prince' thing, though. Marrying Avatar and Chrom does help some of the story scenes in places too--albeit, so does male Avatar/Lucina, but I'd still only do that once.
