I write slash/het. I neglected to mention that specifically in the secret (mea culpa) but I also am part of communities where such things are written and much is made of experience being the best teacher in sex-writing.

I learned everything I know from watching porn and other people's fics.

I still have people in my old fandoms asking me for porn, which makes some people in my newer fandoms ask for my porn. I just don't write it much anymore because it's hotter in my head than when I type it out :-(

No. Seriously. I write porn all the time (heck, my full-marks AS English Language coursework was porn), never had sex, never wanted to have sex. If people are so bitchy and elitist about needing experience to write porn just tell them to stick it.

Just remind them you can't be worse than some of the brilliantly exaggerated hentai artists that are out there- or any porn on babb_chronicles.
