I am faceblind and I'm having a lot of trouble figuring some things out. I know it's late in the post but I figured it was worth a shot asking now and I'll ask on the next post if no one answers.

1. Was that Erica's corpse in the storage closet? It didn't look like her to me other than the fact that she had blonde hair but I got the feeling it was supposed to be her.

2. I know that the woman Allison ran into in the bank, the one who told her to go into the storage closet was the guidance counselor. Was that her again who closed the mountain ash circle in the vault?

3. Is the woman talking to Deaton at the end of the season 2 finale either the woman from the season 3 premiere or the guidance counselor? Or was she someone else?

I usually rely mainly on clothing and hair color to distinguish between characters until I'm very familiar with them, then I rely mostly on how they move and speak (hence my trouble identifying the blonde haired corpse). But the women in my second and third question all have long dark hair and I can't really see what the guidance counselor is wearing when she tells Allison about the storage closet, just that she has spike heels on. And clothing isn't any help for either the woman in the s2 finale or the s3 premiere because the scenes take places at different times.

i'm shit with names sooo here we go:

1. dead girl was the birthday girl

2. I believe closing the ash circle was Derek's sister but maybe *I'm* confused

3. too much time between season 2 and season 3 to remember, someone else?

I get you, I'm not any better half the time. You should see me with guys. It took two seasons for me to stop mixing up Scott and Stiles. Yet I can tell the twins apart...

1. Unknown. The hair color does not match Erica's, suggesting she is someone else. The credits for the episode do not include Gage Golightly (Erica), so most people assume it is Heather, the birthday girl from the beginning of the episode.

2. The guidance counselor, Ms. Morrell, is the one who closes the mountain ash circle.

3. This is also Ms. Morrell. The Mysterious Girl from Tattoo is played by another actress and her character's name and background haven't been revealed.

That's Erica and she's revived somehow (maybe the Peter Hale School of Zombiedom?). She'll be in future episodes and Jeff Davis said something about developing her character, but really anytime she gets to say a line is character development so that's not saying much about what to expect for her this season.

Actually, all Jeff Davis said was that she plays an important role in developing Derek and Boyd's relationship/characters. Which is frustrating because this show has a bad habit of writing female characters that are only there for male character development or plot points.

Unless we're both referencing different statements by Jeff Davis. Which is totally possible and I hope you're right.

1. I think that was purposely vague? Could have either been Heather (birthday girl) or Erica. I imagine we'll find out next episode.

2. Yes. I think that was the big reveal that she was working with (or infiltrated? secret agent style?) the Alpha Pack.

3. The woman talking to Deaton at the end of season 3 was Ms Morrel the guidance counselor.

If it makes you feel better I am NOT faceblind and I still can't tell for shit sometimes. They've hired people who look alike enough that in the poorly lit scenes it's hard to tell.
