SA. Sorry, I hope that didn't come off as dismissive (re: Mel Gibson version). I like that we can all take away different things from the same film. What did you love about that version? Maybe I will have to re-watch it.

ayrt Don't worry I didn't take it as dismissive at all! :) And I actually agree that it had a cold windswept look and feel to it, and I think that really works for the tone of the film. I can't even explain what it is that I love about it, maybe I just saw it at the right time in my life. I remember it was the first Shakespeare film that really made the work come alive for me. Something just clicked.
