Hey, not sure if this on option for you, but my colleague had extremely painful endometriosis, and she was somehow temporarily put into "menopause" for 6 months. In the end, the pain came back and she just had her uterus removed. If you do not feel strongly about having (biological) kids, that's always an option.

There is apparently a less invasive option that won't put you into menopause; the endometrium (lining of the uterus) is destroyed either with direct or indirect heat. Presto, no more thickening of the lining of the uterus, so no more shedding of the uterine lining, so no more wacked-out hormone levels b/c your body won't be trying to rid itself of what's no longer there. If you try to get preggers, it won't take, because the embryo won't have anything to implant into, though, so definitely not wanting kids has to be an option that you're willing live with AND fight for really hard, if you're young, because not many doctors are going to be willing to do that.

The only down side is it is considered elective surgery and will cost you a pretty penny (and probably travel expenses). But I so would have it done, if it was legal in my country, and I could afford it. I had some tolerable decades in my 20s and 30s, but heading into my 40s, it's like reliving my adolescence every month again. Nausea/fever/headache/etc. I don't even mind the cramps and bleeding anymore, it's the rest of it that makes me want to tear my internal organs out.

I just learned about this procedure a couple of days ago and I was overjoyed because I don't want to have any children in the future, but I learned that many women who had it done ended up having such horrible complications that they had to have a hysterectomy, and I'm not really willing to risk having something go that wrong so I don't think that is for me even though I sure wish it was. At first glance it seemed like a miracle. :/
