Oh. Is it a serious book? What were your expectations when you started reading it?

Yeah it's a serious story, but I mean, it would have been possible to do the mythological creature thing *and* be serious... I just feel like there should have been some lead-up to it, you know? If there are satyrs walking around out there you should probably mention them before one shows up a third of the way through the book, right? It was kind of marketed as historical fiction (or at least an historical take on Achilles' story) so I was unprepared!
