You need to work on your reality filters and learn to selectively ignore shit that you don't like before the stress gives you a coronary. It's not going away anytime soon and, as this entire thread demonstrates, there's a limit to how much others will tolerate having their attention drawn to it when they're trying to engage their own filters.

Yep the SJWs are too much like dicks to stop their evangelizing. That is pretty much the reason they won't create SJW or "Problematic Issues" forums. They are not interested in discussing things amongst themselves. Their entire raison d'être is screaming at other people like a street corner scientologist or other deranged, billboard wearing, funeral protesting, evangelist. They've got to be seen by others, because they need to know they are changing someone to validate their own existence. Its an ego boost for them, same as the keyboard republicans.

Well, I'm not sure I harbor quite the same degree of burning resentment that you do (thank god for Tumblr Savior.) But I do think they'd be better-adjusted as well as more agreeable human beings if they learned the value of choosing their battles, not making mountains out of mole hills or sweating the small stuff, giving people the benefit of the doubt, and all those other old sayings that have been kicked around forever for very good reasons.

Because, of course, you are an expert about anyone and *everyone* who likes to talk about social justice stuff. And there's no such thing as a vocal minority in a group you don't like.

I mean, obviously you aren't an SJW, so how do you know so much about what *all* of them do - as opposed to the vocal minority (every group has a vocal minority that is obnoxious and the worst face of the group possible - its what being a vocal minority is all about)?

Seriously. There are fandoms where it's true, all I want to do is criticize, and so I refuse to interfere with positive posts because I don't want to ruin their fun, I simply look for kindred spirits and talk to them. I would only butt in on specifically happy talk if I was an asshole, and assholishness would show itself whether I was an SJW or anything else.

And when I want happy talk? I filter negative discussion and zero in on the squee, of which there is always plenty. I don't have a problem with the negative people so long as they aren't assholes all up in my face, and if they were, it would be because they are just assholes, and would still be aggravating even if they were on my side.
