(Anonymous) 2013-06-16 04:57 am (UTC)(link)I'm thinking about going to my doctor soon and, if nothing else, just talking about this and considering my options. I'm afraid to because I don't do doctors to well, and I'm afraid of hormones, but I sort of feel a little less scared about it now.
I get so upset over my period that I find I don't have the willpower to try to exercise and get physically active these days, otherwise I would be. Usually I end up getting really depressed and I just say "well I'm going to get a period in a week and won't be able to move so why bother trying." So I dunno if that would help or not. Maybe I should try it before I go to the doctor. Maybe it might help with the pain after all, but I might still have problems because as stupid as it sounds, the fact I have a period at all sort of gets me emotionally worked up. That's probably not a normal mind frame to have.
