I hear when it comes to pregnancy the best thing to get your (cis) man understand what you have to go through is to let him try electric stimulation of the muscles involved.
Most dudes try it because they want to prove to the pregnant person that giving birth is no big deal, but they always end up crying and screaming and their view changes.

It's sad, but sometimes you just have to inflict your pain onto others for them to understand.
