Can someone help me out with some recs?

I'm writing a fantasy story based heavily on fairy tales and I'm trying to put together a writing mix. I've got some standard stuff like Loreena McKennitt, Emilie Autumn, Vienna Teng, some Florence and the Machine and a bit of Tori Amos. Does anyone know anything else that would fit in that kind of family?

What about Fleet Foxes and First Aid Kit? (or even First Aid Kit covering Fleet Foxes LOL)

I know it's a little weird, but you might like some of the stuff from the Dragon Age OSTs: Mage Pride (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nxUrz7ZLCp8); Rogue Heart (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9fC8jRQ3-6c); Leliana's Song (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAANKFPchtA)

Sadly, everything else I can think of seems either really downtempo or doesn't seem like it would blend well. Secret Garden and Trobar de Morte may be worth checking out. Some of Arborea's songs might be nice for darker/more somber parts of a story, but they also might be far away from anything you're looking for.

I also personally really like Azam Ali, Niyaz, and Stellamara, but they tend to carry a very different vibe. Same with some of Dead Can Dance's stuff.

Also, Nightnoise and Silverwood quartet has a lot of nice happy upbeat semi-celtic instrumentals if you like that sort of thing.

I enjoy your music threads; I don't always share your tastes, but one of the things I like about GC is getting recs for things I wouldn't find on my own.
