What are some TV theme songs/music that you really, really dislike?

However, since it's easy to hate the music for a show you already hate, I have a caveat: you can only list themes you hate for shows that you otherwise actually like or are neutral towards.

Seinfeld music

Slap bass is God's punishment for an evil world

I really hate the Boy Meets World theme song from the later seasons. (The earlier instrumental themes were fine though).

I never liked Lost's intro.

Thankfully, it's only seven seconds long.

WWWWAHHHHHHHHHHHWWWWWWOOOOOVVVVVVV! (and done.)

And believe me, I used to mute those seven seconds. I can't explain why, it just grates on my nerves like no other noise does.

idk if it counts, but the music during the end credits of Castle is kind of a love/hate thing. It fits some episodes, but after an emotional/tense episode and I hear that goofy music.. it's really annoying.

I had the same problem with The West Wing. Seriously, it's so fucking upbeat and carnivalesque and just ruins the mood of the endings so many of the darker episodes. Even when you mute it, it still ruins the mood because you have to remember to mute it instead of concentrating on the end of the episode. :\

I watch with my family a French cop show called "Alice Nevers, le juge est une femme". At the end of every episode, they do a little musical montage that we call "the Cold Case montage". There are no "ghosts" but you see the main characters looking in the distance, the murderer being regretful, the victim's family trying to cope with the loss etc etc...
They use the same fucking song all the time. It becomes very very annoying after the third time (and you can't not watch it because it usually introduces next week's episode).

Lost Girl's opening is really annoying to me for reasons I can't really put down on paper. In the first season, it bugged me but it was okay - the main character is just discovering the whole magical world and has decided not to run away okay cool.

By the third season, when she's pretty entrenched in and is perfectly comfortable with her identity and her place in things? This whole spiel about how I WAS REALLY CONFUSED AND LOST AND SHIT just does not fit at all and it annoys me because I think the only reason they won't update it is because it's ~sexy~.

Also, Warehouse 13's shorter opening upsets me because I like the long one. And I'm still mad that Jinxy isn't included in it. He's a main character now, goddamnit.

+1 to Lost Girl. I kind of found it grating, even in season one. It seemed redundant to state that Bo initially felt lost within her identity, especially since the show is called "Lost Girl" which further emphasizes her lack of comfort and confusion with her identity.

Big Bang Theory. I started to hate the show after a while, too, but when I was watching it I always muted the opening.

Star Trek: Enterprise.

Well, I STARTED out hating the Farscape theme. But then after a couple of seasons it grew on me and now I like it.

Same with Firefly. I wasn't really big on it at first but now I love it.

I can't think of one I've hated the whole time.
