Recently, I've found myself having to write some difficult letters requesting help. I'm angry about it, I resent the circumstances that force it and I hate having to put on my best form when all I want to do is curl up and cry. I do it anyway because the results affect people who depend on me. Reading THG [The Hunger Games] helps me push myself through it. Seeing Katniss pull through for Prim helps me to keep going.

It wouldn't be fair to take my anger out on the people I'm appealing to, it's not their fault and they probably get enough abuse as it is. Still, I find some comfort in ending my letters with,

"Thank you for your consideration".
