(Anonymous) 2013-06-17 05:25 pm (UTC)(link)the main things i can think of are not really places in the conventional sense, but there's a historic swinging bridge in my hometown that i used to like when i was kid that was torn down by some local business for some reason, and at a local state park one of its iconic rock formations apparently finally broke off and collapsed into the lake
aside from that, there was an old farmhouse i lived in for a year and a half that's since been bulldozed, filled in, and converted into a field
