I love his manly English voice and first name, his last name, not so much. I'm sure, if anything, Apollo will be the one thing I'll like about GS4.

Kristoph and Hobo Wright, on the other hand, are sure to be the things I'll hate about it.

I seem to be the only one who hates his English voice. :( Everyone else says it sounds "manly", I'm apparently the only one who thinks it sounds like the Obnoxious Loser Slob character on any given sitcom.

I do love his first name, though. "Apollo" is an awesome name.

Naruhobo is UNFORGIVABLE. :( Kristoph's just a sad waste of a great character design.

Apollo's voice is like AppleJack's to me, I guess. Don't really have a reason to like it, just do.

Kristoph's character design is initially what started my grudge against him, oddly enough!

So fill me in, why does Hobohodo suck ass? Is it because the Phoenix we know would never go down without a serious fucking fight and from what I've read he does (which ew), or...?

From what I've read, pretty much.

That, and just prepare to block out everything you thought you knew about the Phoenix of the first three games and what was important to him. His old connections and friendships? Gone without a trace. His old scruples? Gone without a trace. Not to mention the plot revolving around his fall and how it's eventually dealt with flat out doesn't even make sense.

And does Ema even have a reaction to the news about Phoenix (besides giving him the spy camera badge)?

It sounds like the writers just kinda assumed going from a nationally-famous defense attorney to poker hobo is totally normal.

Also wtf, disbarring is not exile.
