I'm only here to complain that it should either be Lecteram (Lecter/Graham) or Hannill (Hannibal/Will). First name/last name portmanteaus piss me off beyond what's reasonable. And the guy's last name isn't "gram," either! It's just pronounced that way!

some people tried to go with Hannigraham for a while, but Hannigram is what caught on.
And it sounds so, so very cute.

But Hannigram just rolls off the tongue better than the other two. Not to mention, it also sounds like a delicious cookie which ties in the whole food thing with this show. If someone offered me a Hannigram, I'd eat it. (Well, maybe not if Hannibal offered because you know, his is probably made out of people.)

It's not pronounced that way though - and rightly so! The only person to pronounce it 'Gram' is Freddie. Everyone else pronounces his last name 'Graham'.

I resisted saying Hannigram for a while, but it just rolls off the tongue nicely, so...

It took me an embarrassingly long time to realize 'Hannigram' was a ship portmanteau.

Before that I always assumed Instagram was a major part of the show for some reason.

On that matter, everyone, I still think Hannigram remains one of the cutest ship name ever.
(Then you get into the actual ship where it's fucked up as hell)

that's why the Hannibal fandom is the best, though. The show is 20 kinds of fucked up and the fandom is like "LOL CANNIBALISM" and naming their Broken Bird/Psychopath ship "Hannigram"

Did... it occur to no one else that in Silence of the Lambs, Hannibal Lecter toyed with everyone using anagrams, among other things, and that in addition to being a lolworthy portmanteau, might be a reference to that?
