I loved that show! It was just so fun. I'm in the UK and Cartoon Network used to run it in a segment with Dexter's Lab either side of it (I guess it was probably the same everywhere?) and I was always disappointed when the non-Dexter cartoon was Dial M for Monkey instead! Not that it was terrible, but I wanted Justice Friends!

Wow, I totally forgot this was a thing that exists! And that's the part of superhero fiction I really like, too. I like the superhero characters when they're not doing anything particularly super or heroic, and I really like the non-superhero characters.

I don't think it stemmed from this at all, but wow I forgot about this.

I miss this show

I think it's also the reason that even though my canons are usually full of superpowered characters, I really like the fic where they're lounging around at home, trying to get a handle on ordinary life
