I don't want him to be a regeneration between McGann and Eccleston *pouts* I like the Eight Big Finish audios which hint at the prelude to the Time War. I could believe McGann could press the button by the end, which a lot of people who've seen just the movie don't get. OTOH McGann could die in battle and become Hurt, I suppose.

I want something cool and twisty like the Valeyard. I've been waiting for that sucker to appear for nearly 30 years. I like Dark!Doctor as much as Delighted!Doctor or Determined!Doctor.

Reading through the debates about Moffat in this thread, I've come to the sad conclusion that I'm just not invested enough in the current era to debate its finer points.
