and yes misogyny = intense dislike of women and hostility towards them things relating to them
1. saying "women are all sluts" is misogynist because it implies all women are promiscuous, and that being a woman is a bad and shameful thing (and presumably that you cannot trust them); it is sexist because it dehumanizes women for having and enjoying non-monogamous sex, while men face no such judgment or restriction or danger of being degraded for enjoying their sexuality
2. saying that women deserve to be assaulted for wearing skimpy clothing would also be sexist because it's blaming them for being the victim of a violent crime, and not only justifying but protecting men's right to assault women because they want to have sex with them
3. the glass ceiling is the result of sexism, but that sexism CAN and often is fueled by misogynistic attitudes and behavior
Which would imply that misandry is definitely legit, but sexism against males isn't.
which is somewhat correct, in that misandry towards individual men on a small and personal scale can and does legitimately happen, but that it isn't ingrained into society and culture the same way misogyny is - which is why sexism against women is such a huge, important, and pervasive issue whereas misandry is more like "god i hate men!" "lol stfu bitch"
that's a mess but hopefully it helped
