Yeah, also... under the right writer, the female companions can be just as interesting, strong, important and dynamic a character as the Doctor is. So idk. You don't NEED the Doctor to be a woman in order to have a strong female presence on the show.

Ayrt. Good point. I'd rather see them concentrating on the companions and making them as multilayered characters as the doctor.
