You could always just spell it Circe--same pronunciation, but instead of being named after a character who has done humerus bad things, she could be named after a character from Greek mythology.

+1

I knew a girl named Athena in high school. Most people thought it was awesome.

I also knew a girl called Athena, but then again this is a rather common first name - the whole world is not entirely populated of Americans of anglo-saxon descent. Depending on where you live and the ethnic groups surrounding you, names like Athena or Jaime are actually pretty common.

Circe is more difficult to pull off because she was, after all, supposed to be a bad guy in the Odyssey. Just like Morgaine is considered a bad guy in the Arthurian myth and therefore is pretty rare/non-existent as a first name, whereas Vivian/Vivien/Viviane is not all that rare (I know three of them).

I am not sure what humerus bad things are, but in Greek mythology (or more precisely in the Odyssey), Circe was supposed to be a villain.

Modern thinking would definitely qualify this judgement a little, but she is an enchantress who transforms all those sailors into pigs and then uses all these transformed humans as slaves.

The fact that Odysseus seduces her - partly in order to be spared a similar fate- and eventually runs away from her island does not exactly redeem her character, as one can be in love without being a good person.
