After I woke up, my mom and I stopped at the pharmacy on the way home to get my pain pills and had to wait a while for them to fill the prescription, so we sat in the car and my mom told me she would read to me from the book she brought. Apparently she read for like half an hour, but all I remember is her finishing and asking what I thought, and I told her, slurring, "That was great...but I have no idea what you said." Then we went home and I threw up from the anesthesia. After that I was fine, no real pain at all. Best of luck with the recovery :)
