I had a fairly good experience, all things considered. I was pretty loopy for the actual extraction (and luckily for me, my teeth weren't impacted), and then everything just ached for several weeks. I do remember the dentist asking me what I wanted to do with the teeth, because apparently some people want to take them home... I kind of slurred, "Whaadaya do if I don' wan' em?" He answered that they get given to dental schools for student practice.

Anyway, hang in there, anon! It will get better, it just really aches at first.
