IM3 was way better than Star Trek. You have excellent taste.

Star Trek had excellent action sequences, but it had so many plot holes you could have flown the Enterprise through them, while Iron Man 3 hit the mark so many times and really developed the characters. I think it was my favorite movie so far this summer.
