Well, that is, indeed, taking things too seriously, and being a jerk to boot. Whee.

It's disgusting. I only wear lolita once in a while, but when I do I'm always scared that someone who knows what the fashion is will think I'm a horrible person just because of the lolita community (which I am not a part of because it really is a mean and power hungry group of people).

It's a very unique and beautiful style of clothes, but so many of the people who wear it are rotten and ruin it for everyone. It just goes to show you can't judge a book by it's cover.
