Not for me. That whole song really portrayed how problematic their friendship is, with an almost 'battered woman syndrome' aspect on Baljeet's part. Especially considering how he thrived when finally separated from his bully.

They're schoolchildren. Buford often comically bullies Baljeet, but the series is the kind of series where Buford is self-aware of his bully status and the other children accept him as a friend anyway, and both Baljeet and Buford seem to seek out each other's friendship anyway, if warily from Baljeet's side.

It should go without saying, but this is a cartoon where reality is kind of broken and runs on meta rules. Bullying in real life is not okay and the show never tries to say or imply that.
